I still feel a bit like my head is full of cotton wool so I’m doing a winter photos post. Please forgive my lack of actual blog writing recently.
The walk to work in the cold
Wednesday’s mist
He was just standing there as I walked to work!
The river through the bus window
Winter sky behind Ham House
The walk home is dark and beautiful

Yeh, itit’s really beautiful, especially at this time of year. You see, now, why I opted for cakes instead of law?

How beautiful! Isn’t Ham House near or in Richmond? I studied at the American University in Richmond a hundred years ago and I absolutely loved it there – I wanted to stay forever. But alas, adulthood with its annoying jobs and bills beckoned me homeward. I plan to return one day, though. 🙂

Yes, it is! If you head from the American University toward Richmond Park and go down the hill from there and down to the river, you just walk about 15 minutes further with Richmond behind you and there’s Ham House. It’s a very beautiful part of the world. You should totally make a visit back here 🙂

Ah, yes – I remember now! I’m planning to send my daughter for a term at the American University within the next few years, and I’m sure I’ll be hanging around for as long as possible. The only thing is, they may have trouble making me come back home this time!
